MONDAY:
LISTEN  AUDIO AND ANSWER:   Kumak’s Fish and answer the following questions: • Why did Kumak think it was a “good day for fish”? • Who did Kumak take with him fishing? • What important item did he bring with him? Who made it and why was it so special? • What happened after Kumak’s hooking stick began to twitch? • What similarity can you see between the fish and the people in the village?

TUESDAY: 

Write a story AND  draw a picture about a time when you needed help doing something. What were the circumstances? Who helped you? What was the outcome?

WEDNESDAY: 
What articles of clothing did Kumak and his family put on to keep warm while they were fishing? Compare the name of each article of clothing they wore to what you would wear if you went fishing with your family.

THURSDAY: 

 INVESTIGATION AND EXPOSITORY TEXT.Why is it that during springtime in the Arctic, the days are very long and the nights very short? Learn about the earth in relation to the sun during the changing seasons.
